I was terminated due to a covid-19 policy at my work and denied unemployment. I didn't have much hope for fighting it but decided I had to at least try but couldn't find anyone willing. But then I spoke to Jim who made it clear that I had a strong chance at reversing the decision. Without Jim I wouldn't have stood a chance. He broke down the process step by step and walked me through how to demonstrate what happened to the reviewer in the most concise and impactful way both before and after. During the hearing his input was invaluable. After the hearing I let Jim know that however the decision went, going through the process with Jim gave me a lot more hope that there are others out there like him and helped remove any doubt I had that my employer's actions were justified. And then incredibly it was reversed. I can't say enough and have and will continue to advise those looking for help to reach out to Jim.

I was discharged from my work place for reasons that didn't add up, denied unemployment and to make matters worse it was during the Covid pandemic. I wasn't sure of my options and reached out to attorney James Winston. I filled him in on what had happened and he truly believed I had a case to reverse the decision for my unemployment. He walked me through the steps from beginning to end and put together a great argument for my hearing. He explained how the hearings (virtual) would work and what to expect. I was extremely nervous about the hearing but attorney Winston reassured me we had a strong argument for reversal. After my hearing I felt great, Jim made a great argument for me and pointed out many flaws with my former employers story. When the hearing ended I felt confident and attorney Winston did as well. I was told 2-4 weeks for a decision but received my decision the same week, a full and total reversal and now eligible for unemployment while I was out of work. I can't thank attorney Winston enough. He is a true master of his craft and will get you the results you deserve. Do yourself a favor and contact him, it was the best decision I made.

Winston is the best. I can't explain what a relief it was to have him. The burden of filing for disability is enormous, especially when you are sick. He was extremely through and kind. My husband and I hired Attorney Jim Winston for filing for disability. Atty. Winston was very easy to talk to and he worked in a professional manner. As he was preparing for my case, he worked diligently, making calls, gathering information and documentation, etc. He was honest and up front with us by mentioning, that the majority of the time, these cases get denied and that it is very difficult to receive benefits. Unfortunately, my request for disability was denied and we went ahead and filed an appeal. Atty. Winston, didn't give up on us, but rather pursued further with my case. When it came time to go to court, Atty. Winston was well prepared and had all of the medical evidence necessary to have the ruling go in our favor.
